Run,walk then toys

Bob and I started the morning off with our 12K run. It was overcast, chilly and we ran into a few light showers. We always feel soooo much better after we've got our long run in for the weekend. After our run, we decided to take the boys for a walk in the riverbed to see if we could flush out any rabbits. We went biking near the riverbed yesterday and saw a ton of rabbits. The boys didn't get to chase any rabbits, there was quite a few people riding horses and we think they spooked them. The boys were definitely on the hunt, they perked up at the smallest sounds even the leafves that turned in the wind.
The boys were so good and since they didn't find any rabbits in the field we decided to take them to Pet Smart and let them hunt for their own stuffed animals. Jake found this fox and he ran for the door. He didn't stop until he reached the car door. He thought he was sneaking out of the store. Mac is sooo happy to have his new toy, he hasn't let go of it since we got home. He's a very happy boy!

Hockey Game: Duck's vs. Kings

We had an opportunity to go to an Anaheim Duck's vs. Los Angeles Kings Hockey game last night. I friend of mine has season tickets and was going to be out of town and offered them to us. This is one of the best games to go to as it's two So. Cal teams. It was a packed house, every seat full, all the way to the ceiling of the Honda Center. It was a little tricky finding parking and leaving, but Bob navigated it perfectly! The seats were amazing, we were 8 rows off the glass. Just close enough to see the whites of their eyes, but not the vibration of the glass when they body slammed each other into it.

During one of the breaks little kids, from one of the local kids leagues, came out to shoot goals.
Wow! What an incredible game! There were plenty of fights and penalties, Bob and I found ourselves really getting into the game.

Valentine's Day

I wasn't up for much celebrating on Valentine's Day as I had a horrible cold and fever most of the day. Bob was so kind and took care of me. He kept my water bottle full, made me tea and hot soup and made sure I had plenty of kleenex. We watched quite a few movies and got caught up on all of our recorded programs (24, Lost and The Biggest Loser). Jake and Mac cuddled with me all day!
Bob was so wonderful I wanted to make dinner for him. Here's a picture of a NY Steak with chocolate merlot sauce with grilled onions, garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. I couldn't taste much due to my cold, but Bob promised it was really yummy!

Last Day in Jacksonhole, WY

Headed up the tram to get some really awesome shots of the valley. This was a really cute little shack at the top of the Tram. Toilet was a hole in the ground and they ran the heaters in there to help the decomposition and it didn't even smell.
Which way do I go, Black Diamond, Black Diamond or Double Black Diamond? I think I'll take the tram back down.
This is a double black diamond that people could drop into or off of the top of the rock. YEAH RIGHT! I'll leave it for the really crazy Yahoo's!Also, took some amazing shots on the way to the airport.
This is the famous "Sleeping Indian" Mountain. Can you see his pointy nose and the headdress? There's even a little cloud over his mouth that looks like a puff of smoke.
This is my money shot! These are the famous ragged Teton Mountains.

Jacksonhole, WY

Wow! What an amazing trip. The weather has been amazing, blue skies and crisp cold 0' to 30' weather. There seems to be an inversion in the weather temp. It's 30' on top of the mountain and 0' at the lodge.Check out the view of the mtn from our hotel room. You could see the entire mountain and the lifts.
